Mafralac is a dairy company that offers innovative solutions for quality and responsible nutrition. With more than 25 years of experience, the purpose of its founder, Leo Godoy, is to lead the future of nutrition, working sustainably to provide the highest quality food with exquisite taste for all the inhabitants of the planet. As part of the growth process, Leo contacted Gonzalo Berro for Grupo Berro to develop its new identity. The Challenge In an industry with large national and international companies, Mafralac is a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) and needed its new identity to represent its vision and for a new design to help give visual credibility to all the effort they put into making their products. The Development We traveled to the industrial plant in Recreo, province of Santa Fe. We held meetings with the client and their team, and toured the facilities and the new expansion works. Based on the information gathered, we developed different creative concepts that included the identity and signage for the plant and the new offices. The Result Of the different concepts presented, the chosen idea was the identity of the ‘links’. The "M" of the new symbol is formed by the union of 4 links that together shape the letter and support a drop of milk as a symbol of the company’s expertise. A renewed identity that shows the strength and vision of Mafralac in the dairy industry.
