There are many questions or inquiries that reach us through our social media or website, but typically the projects that thrive come through referrals or brands that have experience in design or branding. In this case, we were contacted by Dante, who along with Ayelen are the owners of The Beauty Bar, a young brand of hair products for the female audience. They requested a quote, but we invited them to a Zoom meeting. We usually do not share our costs if we don’t know well who we are addressing. The conversation was very interesting, much more than our initial expectations. Ayelen and Dante are two young entrepreneurs who showed great enthusiasm for our designs and the way of thinking at Grupo Berro. They were determined to move forward with the project, but our fees were beyond what they could invest. ‘In the conversation, a good chemistry had developed, and I, who had started my own venture at a similar age, suggested they let me know how much they could invest to work with us,’ comments Gonzalo Berro. Dante’s response was concrete, and what they offered was well above what they usually invest in design. That conviction earned our respect, and we accepted that offer. The next day, 50% of what was agreed upon was already transferred to our account, and that seriousness and commitment define what we saw in The Beauty Bar. Young entrepreneurs determined to offer products of excellent quality, betting on an identity that positions them at the highest standards of the category. We created the new brand, and with the play on the name, the symbol represents a mouth and a cup. The logo combines a ‘dry stick’ typography with a gestural detail in the word ‘Bar’ that emphasizes the connection of Ayelen and Dante with the project. A young and relaxed brand. We developed the names for each product with a nod that emphasizes what type of hair each one is for. And we designed the packaging with a bright color proposal, featuring textures from nature worked in duotones and a rainbow stamping application for the symbol and each name, giving a ‘live’ shine to each container. The result is a line of products that is young and bold, like its two owners.

We created the new brand and with the play on the name, the symbol synthesizes a mouth and a cup. The logo combines a ‘sans-serif’ typography with a gestural detail in the word ‘Bar’ that highlights the connection of Ayelén and Dante's staff with the project. A young and relaxed brand.
