Grido

Who is Grido? With around 1,600 franchises in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay, it is the largest ice cream shop in Latin America and the fifth largest in the world. It produces 75 million kilograms per year and has the largest cold storage facility in Latin America. Grido had defined an identity and needed us to design the entire product line. The first thing we did was travel to Córdoba to see and understand the brand's DNA. We visited the production plant, toured various branches with the marketing team, and held several discussions to interpret the brand from the inside out in the best way possible. It was a surprise for us because until that moment we were unaware of the true size of the company, the seriousness in the production of ice cream with top-quality raw materials, and the commitment of the Santiago family to provide first-class food at affordable prices for their consumers. When looking at the different packs, the design did not meet the brand's standards. There was no concept of family, and they clearly needed a change. The work consisted of building a solid architecture that generates clear line communication while also giving each ice cream a unique personality. We created colorful patterns with playful illustrations of the different ingredients and conducted a photographic job showcasing each real product that truly looks delicious and is very photogenic. The result is stunning. Today, the Grido product family appears colorful, innovative, youthful, and modern; each product stands out and invites you to try them. A packaging design that clearly shows the quality of the product inside.
