Diego Lerner, a recognized executive with a significant international career, is passionate about Patagonia, which he channels through Valle del Medio, his own venture in Lago Puelo, Chubut, Argentina. From a model establishment in the heart of Patagonia, alongside Nicolás Nuñez, he produces high-quality jams. When it came to defining a design leader, Diego, who has the opportunity to work with the best designers in the world, chose Gonzalo Berro. THE CHALLENGE Enthusiasm for production, the land, and local products is often not enough to successfully run a food business. Along with 90 hectares of organic plantations, free from agrochemicals, and the best technology available for making jams, Diego and Nicolás, who had acquired the traditional jam brand “Masseube”, urgently needed to update the packaging that hadn't changed in decades. Grupo Berro provided that, and much more. THE OPPORTUNITY The packaging of a product is never an isolated matter; rather, it is a strategic tool resulting from a long-term vision. The label of Masseube was the starting point for a global design effort that encompassed the Valle del Medio brand, the Masseube brand, the website design, all graphic material, and the entire packaging line. THE RESULT No one better than Diego himself to explain it: “What I value most about Gonzalo is his enormous commitment to our vision, and his limitless dedication.” Grupo Berro collaborated committedly over two years to ensure that today Masseube appears modern, renewed, clearly standing out in its category.
