One of our greatest satisfactions at Grupo Berro is earning the trust of our clients. In the case of SC Johnson, something very special is happening: they have trusted us for different branding and design challenges for 26 years. This time, they called us from the headquarters in Racine, USA, to redesign the Lysoform brand. A well-established brand, a leader in household disinfection, that we know very well because in 2017 we designed the ‘personal care’ line. Background In a category that has a more clinical focus, SC Johnson wanted to elevate Lysoform to a more emotional territory and highlight the benefits of keeping the family healthy. In a world focused on minimizing risks, LYSOFORM offers a ‘caring shield’ because the brand believes that “the world would be a better place if we could all make every day count instead of simply seeking a feeling of control.” Challenge The work was based on redesigning the brand without losing its strength, emphasizing its expertise in ‘disinfection’ and the conviction of being a ‘protective shield’ for consumers and their families. Respecting the distinctive colors and the brand’s emblematic cross, we redesigned the typography and framed the logo within a shield. We also redesigned the packs with a more stripped-down and modern aesthetic. Result The new brand is a clear evolution from the previous one that incorporates key elements to achieve the objective defined by the company. A new design that gives relevance and prominence to Lysoform in the disinfection category.
